what trans. would fit a 92 civic hatch, w/ and H22a?...

the H22 uses cable shifting, so if you would like to shorten the cables so it will reach where you like it, then by all means, go ahead

you can use the H22 tranny or an H23 tranny but that would be dumb to do, but it does fit and work

 

you will have to use the prelude shifter cables from a 92-96 (not sure about the 5th gen's). you will also have to cut out a hole in front of your big shifter hole for the cables to come through from the tranny and hook up to your prelude shifter assembly.
