JDM b16 pistons will make 11.5:1 in an ls block for you...p30's

anyway, there should be hardly anything machining wise, that you need to do...maybe just a basic hone...

The pistons should fit just fine, you might need to bore if you go 20 over from stock. the pistons need to be cut to fit the rod and that should be it.

just have the b16 pistons pressed onto the ls rods, and upgrade the rod bolts to arp, shouldnt take too much they're the same bore size.

no other way around, usdm's are pr3s, jdms are p30.

p30 have higher compression.

Other than the new rod bolts, what kind of mods are needed to run the higher compression?

Adjust timing? Fuel? Can a oem LS head gasket handle the higher pressure?

can't go wrong with cams/gears, then tuning it on dyno, but if ur on tight budget just get thinner head gasket.

LS will work fine, but thinner will bump a few comp. points.

Only thing really needed is higher octane gas and maybe chipped ecu or FPR.
