i just bought a 98 accord EX. the rims are in prettty bad shape. the rims are scared up. The clear coat and color are commin off. for those of you who know which rims came with the 98 ex, the color is comin off only on the spoke part, not the middle. looks like salt damage from the snowy roads, im guessing . any ways,,,,, my friend told me to sand them down really good, give them a spray of laquer. they will look like a chrome color a little. i was also thinking of sanding them down, sprayin them with silver spray paint and then spray them with coat of laquer. will this work out? any one got any ideas or thoughts on what i can do?? thanks alot for the help. just out of curiosity, how much $$ to get them dipped?
