how do i mount my gauges where the climate controls go
as the topic says i have a 2 gauge pillar and i really dont like it (rice)
id like to move my climate control to where the stock radio goes
and the radio and eq down to an audio console
im thinking... Buy a radio block off, trace some circles on it and go to work with my dremal
will the gauges stay put or do i have to use some mounting hardware?
i also want to have the gauges set back a little so i can use another block off plate be be all stealth
anyone done this before?

Its a matter of opinion. I have a 3 pod pillar on my car and dont have a problem with functionality. Its not like you cant make left turns because of it, and I like having the gauges that readily available.
Yea. I love my climate control lol and the god damn del sol has no where else to put gauges so I'm gonna have to go with a pillar too ;/

i also wanted to show you guys how i hide my gauges.
i did have the radio block off plate on a hinge but i did not like the way it bounced when i had it open while driving.
here they are with magnets in the corners
here is the back of the radio block off plate all cut and with washers glued to the corners.
and here is how they look when parked or not in use.

its actually from a cx. the base model that actually came with no radio. i got mine from ebay though cuz the dealer is kinda pricey for a little thing. looks really nice though and fits like a glove (OEM rules!) and it says honda

i was searching for "radio plate" for a block off plate, because most radios are standard DIN sized and i came across this one, just good luck i guess. give the dealer a call and see how much it is or try hondaautomtiveparts.com
and they are 2 1/16" gauges
