Nitto 555R??
Try 20-25psi. See which one will work for you. Remember to do this before your tires heat up or else you will have inaccurate measurements.
I think the set up of your vehicle will determine how high you can rev to launch. Let me xplain my experience on that; my friend had a GSR with a 75 shot of NOS & a few other mods, he also had the Nitto 555R's on his stock rims. When I would race with his car I would not rev at all, I would keep my foot on the gas & as soon as the light came on I would drop it. I also tried reving it at 3000-3500rpms & I was able to do the same times, my best time was 13.5 with both methods. If I reved higher than that I would lose traction bcz he had the NOS hooked up to the pedal, so at full throttle the NOS will automatically activate (too much power for little traction). Now if I was racing with my stock ITR I would have to rev somewhere in the area of 3800rpms and 5500rpms to have a good take off, my best time stock was 14.6 in the quarter mile. There was no way I was going to do those times with just having my pedal in the gas & droping it in the take off. Actually I needed to rev up or else I wouldn't have been able to do a good take off since my car didnt have a big power adder. Does that make sence? I hope that helps.

Try different rpms, if u are stock with the Nitto 555R's then try 5500-6000 rpms. Depending how you do that time then decide if you need to rev up more or less. I have R compoud tires in my ITR & in the street I am able to launch at 6000 rmps with out a problem but I have not tested them at the track. You need to figure out what is best for you by trying different rpms. Good luck.
