Default Here's a challenge...

Hi, I'm Colin.

I have a 91 crx si and I'm trying to find a body kit I like for it. I found 1, but as most things go with me, I always pick things that are impossible to find.

The kit I picked is the infamous boom2 kit. http://www.fibremotive.com/new...e.jpg

If ANYONE knows where I can buy this kit, please post a link or something, I've looked all over, and not even ebay has it.

that kit is ok i guess, but the only one worth purchasing IMO is the wings west/mugen kit.

So say alot of people.
The mugen kit is ok, but I don't really like it enough to buy it. Trust me guys, this is the kit I want, I've seen ALL the others.
Nah, they don't have it at WW, tried it already.

no it's not necessary that it just nobody really cares for that kit. It is considered RICE and there aren't very many Ricer's here at Honda Tech. BTW Welcome

I wouldn't say thats ricey. It almost looks like a Skyline or something.

It's not necessarily ricey, it's just that those types of kits are so damn blingin', and the mugen/ww kits are so much classier & fit the body lines so well that it should have been factory. It does look ok I guess- just not for me.

Now to answer your question- I have looked at tons of sights & whatnot just kinda seeing what all was out there & I haven't ever seen that kit for sale. G/L if that's what you want.

a wee bit too much for me but if you can find it go for it, please paint it though, theres a skyblue ef runnin around my town like mine but he has the hugest front bumper kit on his car and its been like primered yellow for ever.. no other pieces either its plain tacky. i dont even care about rice or not rice. just as long as you dont have altezzas

i have a friend wantin the boom kit for his 95 honda coupe, but he said the price was OUTRAGEOUS, so he's backin off,, i'll ask him if he knew where he saw it at and try to let you know in the next few days... it had to be expensive too cause he has a lil over 30g's in his civic, and money usually dont bother him when it comes to his car...

IMO- it looks good, but i like the simpler stuff,, not so modest as WW, even tho i do like it,, but i would prolly like the BW ground FX for my car,, anyway,, it does look sweet, and if you can find it/afford it adn like it,, go for it

As soon as I opened your link I knew that the kit is from Australia! If you use the following link:

http://www.fibremotive.com/new/contact.htm

It explains that "Fibremotive kits can only be purchased through Fibremotive International and our exclusive dealers"

I could not see any international dealers on their site so I presume the only way you will be able to get the get is to buy it direct from Australia and ship it to the US. It will cost a load of cash but think how individual you will be. Nobody else will have the kit.

hey that kit dosen't look bad at all. I would pick that over the common WW kit. Do they make one for the EF hb?

No idea.

Well, I was waiting for some one to flame me for wanting a custom looking bodykit, but hey, it wasn't too bad. I was expecting alot worse.

Anyway, I'd pay a bundle for the front bumper. I really like it, and it'd be worth alot to me, enough to get it shipped. I want to see if I can buy the front seperate from the rest though, but I have the feeling it's a package deal or nothing.

Thanks for helpin me out, demon hatch, I hope you can find out for me.

Im actually in the same boat, i have a mugen kit right now, but the front and rear bumper are cracked from the local towing company that proceeded to mess up my car. I was thinkin about getting the WW RS Urethane kit, but so many people have it, but i dunno what other kits would look nice that are urethane.. whats this kit made of? I think it actually dosent look too bad.

Fiberglass, but don't be too dissapointed, you wouldn't be able to find it in either.

Try Nopi
http://www.nopionline.com/inde...fid=0

They have a couple... no good urethanes though.

If bodykits were my thing, id get the Xenon kit. IMO, it looks like a factory car. Looks closer to stock than the Wings West Mugan copy.
