how do i lubericate my slave cylinder
my clutch pedal squeks when i push it in and i was told it was my clutch slave clyinder, can somebody please tell me how to do this and if this is what is should be doin or is it something else thats makes it squek , cuz if i stick my head under the hood and sombody pushes the pedal in the sound come from the transmission area and the slave cylinder is right there , right? anyway thanks if you help
the squeak is because your master cylinder is going bad.
The little pushrod under the pedal going into the CMC has to be DRY! If you look under and see grease on it, its blown. Get a new one.

The slave cylinder is on the tranny, you can see the bleeder nipple for it to the left of the header. Pull the black rubber boot out of the tranny to expose the SC pushrod and lube it with some grease where it meets the "little arm that sticks out of the tranny" (I forget its name).
You should also check the CMC to make sure that's no tthe culprit. HTH
Edit: Big Phat R spellcheck.

it could also be springs on your clutch.. - if you're still using stock clutch.. but its probably cheaper to try to fix slave cylinder first, then look further..

im gonna try the slave cylinder first and see if that fixes it , and my car has about 41.000 miles so is this just somthing thats needs to just be lubed and so often, and again what kind of grease should i use or is anything good
I have the same problem, I replaced the clutch and the squeeking went away for about 10k miles then they came back. Does anyone know exactly what the cause of this problem is? This has happened to my old gsr, and both my type r and ls currently.
