Is the ITR diff electronically controlled?
I thought that the ITR had an Electronically controlled diff. I am almost sure that I read somewhere that it was. I thought that the sensor on the brake back plate was for monitoring the amount of wheel spin. I could swear that I read the ITR and the Prelude type s both had this feature.

So you didn't believe me the first two times I told you, right?
I appreciate your help in my other topic, but I assure you that the Type R has no such thing as any electronic controlled LSD.
The Type R has a helical mechanical diff that is in no way ECU or electronically controlled - period.
The Prelude Type S (JDM) and Type SH (USDM) does feature a computer and sensors that help control the activation of the differential.
By the way before anyone jumps my ****, the real Type S does feature ATTS - I have one sitting in front of me her at the shop. The popular 220ps version used in swaps are actually S Spec, not Type S.

I appoligize I feel like a tard. I could have sworn I had read that some place. those sensors are for the abs?

yep, those are for ABS.
And what B18C5-EH2 said is correct, the ITR LSD is a helical fully mechanical differential.

As far as the 8,000+ posts goes, that could be a good or bad thing depending on the user.
Seeing as how I never post (maybe 5 times per year) in the Members' Corner/GDD forum I'd say that my 8K posts are tech-oriented.

I can be wrong too though...
