I think the rims on the new ITR look pretty damn nice. Anybody know the bolt pattern and what they weight? Only draw back, I thick you'd get ripped on the price, probably 400 bux or more. I know when I had to replace 1 of my 98 GSR's rim, Acura charged me 420 (i know, bad price, but i was going out of town the next day and did not have the time to find something else).

I bet those 17's are heavy (cast). I wouldn't be surpised if you gained 6 whp just by switching to 16" forged rims...but I don't think this will be possible due to the huge brakes.

 

If i'm not mistaken, the bolt pattern for all RSXs is 5x114.3mm, which is the same as G3 ITRs...

Offset could be different though...

 

find someone with an rsx type-s and swap with them and see what happens...

 

if you are talking about the new R from japan, you can't get them here, but rota mantis wheels look exactly the same, they are light and fairly inexpensive. very nice wheels. http://www.rotawheels.com

 

Actually I carry the 17 inch Type R JDM spec wheels. No problem. They are 17X7 and 5X114 but don't have the offset.
