I think im going to be picking up a ported(by a trusted local shop) 00 si intake manifold for my b16a2....What kind of gains am I looking at for this part? And what other problems might i face with the install?

im interested in this too, isnt the si IM similar to the y8 IM? I was thinking of having mine ported and polished too.

 

on my old y8 i had a bored throttle body w/ port matched intake mani and port/polished head and the gains were definetly noticable but with just the intake mani done i think youll see minimal gains..get the T/B matched to it would be my first move..

I would do it for 70 bucks.
Buy one of my gaskets too...I have them in stock.
