I saw the link to OPM Motorsports and thought I would chime in. I have been running their Front Lower Control Arm Delrin Bushings on my daily driver for over 2 years. They are a great product. I have no complaints at all. It is hard to remember what the suspension was like without them. But I remember be happy with the purchase.
Progress Group- We use them on the JDM Type R- Would'nt use anything else.
Call Jonathan at Progress- Tell him Kiwi sent you. He'll give you a deal.

Just a question...how come they are using a bearing for the trailing arm bushing...but not for the shock mount? Or is that just a "example picture" .

thanks kiwi, i will do just that.
hey eepee, for our cars, they (progress) offer them for the inner control arm bushing, shock (fork) mount and you get a poly rear bushing. i just want the fronts, as i have a good buching in the back already.

I can see how the sphericals remove flexing completely, but is there adverse effects to the rest of the suspension absorbing the extra flex that is no longer taken in by the poly/rubber bushings?
I find this kind of worrisome. I'd be concerned that the utter lack of lateral play in the control arms' paths would cause some kind of binding at some point in the wheel's travel. But enough well done cars are using them that perhaps my concerns are unfounded.

The spherical bushing will allow enough travel... hence the name, 'spherical'.
Poly bushings allow much, much less lateral movement... and bind. I like to drop the LCA's from the subframe to install shocks (rear), and use a jack to monkey them back in place - you realize very quickly that you dont want those bushings to bind.

I'm not sure I see specifically what you're looking for here, but they have lots of similar race specific suspension stuff.

Good luck.
