Default Getting Stroked

Can some one tell me what a stroker kit does is it legal and do they make one for the d16y6 sohc vetec engine.

it ups the displacement of your engine. im sure they make them for the d16y6.

What he said, I don't of anybody that makes one for the D16 but then again I know jack **** about D-series motors.

if you stroke your d16 then youre gonna hafta do some more **** to keep it going smoothly. the stroker kit will increase the (duh) stroke of the crankshaft. this means it has to travel farther, but to keep it running smoothly you need to do a little work on the head like cams and springs (you don't have to, but it'll help a shitload). Either way, the car sounds like an old pushrod v8, like the charger in the fast and the furious. that's exactly what my b16 sounds like (it's very modded).
