Okay, please shoot me if anyone can find this in a search.

I received my GR2s for my 88 CRX HF, but the rears have a "hook" perch, instead of a ball. Shouldn't the KYB GR2s, have a ball design for the rear shocks like OEM, or does it mount to the other "hole" on the LCA with the perch? Please help.

The instructions list it for 88 CRX HF, if anyone can show me a pic of the rear installed, that would also be great. Thanks.

if u have a 88 they should have the have a ball design for the rear shocks like OEM... they prolly send the wrong 1s

 

Yeah 88 had the different LCAs. Where ever you bought those from probably listed them as 88-91 which is wrong as they should be 89-91.

 

Or you can get 89-91 LCA's form your local salvage yard. then they will bolt right up. shouldn't be more than 20-30 bucks.

I spoke with the company I bought the KYBs from, and they are sending me the correct ones, I must have made a mistake when buying them, thinking the LCAs are the same from 88-89. Thanks everyone for the help!
