wont rev past 4k?????

just installed d15 w/si parts, and the car has 20 psi on the 3rd cyl, and will only rev to 4k.....any ideas????, need asap

OK GUYS, DONT LET ME DOWN, i know yall know this one....the way im thinkin is that it might be the rings that are shot....but why would it only rev to 4k?

sounds like an mpfi swap problem. check your wiring very carfully. there is a sensor that needs to be wired correctly in the dizzy that if not hooked up, will not let you rev past 4k. what codes are you throwing?
