Default Do you have to have Autometer tachs calibrated??

I'm gonna buy a 5" Autometer tach for my CRX. But will I have to have it calibrated?

Also, I saw on Ebay a tach that has a tach adapter (I think this is what its called) so you get the correct readings. Will I need this? What does it do?

you don't need tach adapter they are for cars with coil packs or something like that,

I think you need to cut the little wires for setting # of cylinders, cut both of them for 4 cyls, they are the orange and brown wire loop at the rear bottom of the tach
