larry from import auto salvage in marion nc dynoed his hatch at 320 whp all motor(b20/vtec) after he layed down those #'s the engine blowed.....call me dumb, but I didnt know that was possible

yea its possible allmost anyone with some know how
can make 300WHP now if its a 2.0 thats another thing
bad tunning or bad parts will kill a engine quick

There is a guy on here witha built b20 vtec in his GSR....he put down 260 to the wheels, and it was untuned... ToDa Valve train, and high compression, tell me he can't make at least 300whp with tuning.... its def possible

Untuned? Alot of people's idea of Untuned is the cam gears aren't fully adjusted...my Idea of untuned is a baseline pull...

That an example of "Not Fully Tuned"...but alot of people throw around 'untuned' loosely...giving the impression that the motor is running around ona chipped ECU or something.

Hey, Believe what you want, He had a post on here a couple weeks ago, its a black Teg with a built B20 block, and GSR head/tranny.... I think he has the dyno sheet too... even if it is tuned, thats still good *** numbers for a B20 vtec.

What I do know is that whenever we go to the track I will always ask someone how much power they are making in a car that may have a similar setup to ours and they will always say something like ohh it makes about 250 or so but it seems as though everyone tells us that . Our car wasnt making near 250 but we were still able to pull some decent times . If someone out there is really makiing the 300 that they claim their car should be blazing. I would think 10.50 or faster, but I may be wrong?

you said earlier 350 to the wheels ("300WHP")... now you are saying crank... 2 totaly differant issues... i still think there are only 5 or 6 cars making more than 300WHP all motor... and only 1 or 2 making more than 320WHP...

I know of a drag CRX that is running enormous cams, race header, everything you can imagine and 14:1 compression....he doesnt make 300whp on the built LS/VTEC.
His cams are so big the non-vtec lobe has trouble staying idle. I have no idea what this guy shifts at....I dont even wanna know. All im saying is if your making 300+ to the wheels, you have a lot of
A) money
B) talent
C) my respect.

Since we arent really racing the same motor anymore I will tell you what are car had . b20 block w\eagle rods and 85mm je pistons 13.5 :1 , Gsr head milled 30 thou , 49 mm itbs, rs vtec eliminators, side exit header with burns collector , stand alone with lots of dyno time on 115 octane, final whp 128 , car ran 11.4 @119
