supposably(sp) you should be able to tell by the camgear. but when i took a cam out of an A6 engine the camgear looked exactly the same as my old LX cam. so are there any other ways?

hehe, thanks. Thing is I am going to pick up a SI head to replace my d15 head. Since the casings are the same, i just wanted to make sure the SI head the guy is selling is actually a SI head and not another dx one.

I have an Si head in the garage I'm getting ready to put it on my D15B1...theres some numbers cast in the exhaust side,on the left...my Si head has PM9-4 on it,while my stock D15B1 head has PM3-5 on it.I don't know if this has any relevance though, just thought I would mention it.

Yeah, my b1 head says pm3-5 also. But Honda told me the casings are the same, only the cam and valves are different.
