if you're talking about those small plastic things i cant remember exactly how i did it but i just used a pair of needle nose pliers to squeeze the thing and then used a small flathead screwdriver to push/pry it out (like prying between the doorhandle and the plastic part while squeezing it so that it can be pushed through)
once you get it off it just goes in the same spot on the 4 dr handles. you just remove that long metal thing that goes across on the 4 dr handles and then the little cylinder thing goes into the one side just like it does on the front handles
that make sense? if it doesnt just be really specific and ill let you know since i still havnt put my doorpanels back on.
btw what did you do with the rod that was attached to the lock cylinder? i just wrapped a bunch of tape around it so it wouldnt rattle around but id like to find a better solution.

well about the other rod, i haven't even thought about what to do yet, i ahven't even put the new door handle in lol, well once i get the new handle in, i will think about what to do and if i find something good, i will let you know. did u take pics of how u did it? And i do know what u mean, i just can't get the damn thing off.
those thing are a bitch to get out. i did one side perfectly fine, but the other side took me 1hr. use 2 very thin flathead screwdriver to help manuever the plastic clip out. btw, how much did you pay for those rear 4dr handles?
if anyone wants a set and located in the bay area, let me know, i got a magenta colored one in good condition.

As far as the rod going down from the door lock cylinder, remove it. You don't need it anymore. One of mine just came off, and one I wiggled around until the plastic part that it goes into broke off. Obviously, only do this if you're sure that you are never going to need normal locks again.
Yeah, I messed up the plastic clips on the first one I did when I was removing the gold bar; luckily, I had another set of them, and used them. Needle-nose pliers helped out with removing them.
