What Kind?!?!??!
Do you guys think, if I get heat wrap on the intake will it be better like that, I know that I will still suk in hot air cause of the engine, but I was just wondering if putting the heat wrap will protect the intake from getting hot? Any get better performance?

all D16A6 trannies are interchangable. BUT 88-89 won't work with your clutch/flywheel. Get a 90-91. before you change it, try putting in some GM syncromesh fluid to smooth out the shifting.

You are right- I thought about stating that after I initially posted, but I had to leave my house & didn't feel like fixing it

From what I've heard the EX and Si trannys are NOT the same. The EX has a 4.0FD to the Si's 4.25 I'll do some math/experimenting and see whats up. I'm using my stock EX tranny, 200k miles and still no grinds. 
Edit : If it has a 4.0FD when I'm at 80 mph I shoudl be at 3573rpms...if its the same as an Si I should be at 3797rpms...so when I go to work tomorrow I'll see what happens.
