Default Erratic Stalling DOHC ZC

OK, I got my ZC installed about 6 weeks ago, and the car is running very strong. I'm having tranny issues, but that's besides the point. The last couple of days my car has stalled 5 times for no apparent reason. It just happened twice while I was idling at a stop light. I didn't have it in gear & it was idiling like it has been- about 850rpms & all of a sudden it just died- it started right back up though. It then did it again about 45 seconds later- WTF? The dizzy/cap/rotor/plugs/wires are all new (6 weeks old). What would cause this? Please help- I swear my hatch is cursed.

Ignitor perhaps.

Is your dashpot hooked up right? Also maybe your EACV is dying or something.

If it was the ignitor taking a **** on me wouldn't I have other symptoms? As far as the dashpot- or EACV - the same question applies? I appreciate the input, I am just kind of stumped as to what the deal could be. Like I said the car has run great for the last 6 weeks, much more power than the A6, the only needed things were a valve adjustment, and then more aftermarket stuff- guess I may have been wrong.

EACV is there to regulate your idle, if your car stalls, well then your idle certainly isn't being regulated.

That is very true, I just was thinking that since it has been idiling so well (compared to my dying A6) that I didn't think that. I'll check it out. Anyother ideas?

So it may be easier to replace my dizzy & go from there? I have a lifetime warrenty on it, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

would a bad MAP sensor cause it to die like that? My car died tonight 4 times while I was on the highway on my way home from work & the CEL is for code 3 which I think is for teh MAP sensor.
