EF9 and EF8 how different are they really??

Default EF9 and EF8 how different are they really??
i have a ef9 rite hand drive clip but i was wondering if i could a ef8 front end on it..
would that be possible??

EF9 is Civic hatchback SiR
EF8 is CR-X SiR

You can put the EF8 front end on the EF9, but I'm pretty sure its not just bolt on.
