Since I do this only 2-4 times per year, what brand should I take? What´s about the Yokohama A032R? I will use my 15 inch stock rims. 205/50/15 is the minimum I´ll take to put my power to the ground. Is it a good idea to take a "not-bad" cheap-tire (CEAT, 1 peace for 62 USD) for DRAGing?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I would say nitto 555R i had them on like for 5 months now..still good..when needed to be heat up they will do the trick and give u the most possible traction..

I've never seen an axle break on street tires in a naturally aspirated Honda.
On slicks, it's a different story.
For tires, I was very impressed with the BFG Drag Radials. They didn't feel like slicks THAT much.. but they bite like em when you hit second gear real hard coming off a decent burnout.
For regular plain jane street tires, the Toyo Proxes T1-S are phenomenal.
As are the Dunlop SP9000. They are super sticky, and they are almost ALWAYS available, unlike some of the more favored Advans and Yokohamas.

I have a set of BFG drag radials that i am selling. Email me if you are interested. They are 205-50-15, i used them on my stock rims, worked great, consistant 2.1 second 60 foot times. Only used them at the drag strip one time (four pases) still like new!
