Default H14? anyone

Has anyone ever heard of a H14 engine in any honda or acura? Just recently looked at a 2000 honda civic ex and when i popped the hood the block said h14 instead of D16 what is wrong with this picture and by the way it only had 12,000 miles on the odometer and the engine looked pretty worn. what are your thoughts? i laughed at the guy when he said he was asking 8900 for it. i said no thanks.

Wouldn't you have noticed if it is a Honda motor or not by the valve cover?

Anyway, it's no Honda engine.
