Where did you buy your NGK spark plugs and wires (B16a)? I see the plugs listed for like $2.xx each but the wires (HE64 Del Sol VTEC) are listed as almost $70.00.

Prices sound normal to you? Hit me up with a site that you used to buy your NGK plugs (BKE6E-N11) and wires (HE 64).

not bad.. their spark plugs are a little expensive.. they are only 1.50 -$2 at a local kragen for the copper plugs....

Around here plugs are 1.50 or 2.00 for 4 and if you look around for the wires, you can find them as cheap as 40 bucks.

are you kidding... like $.50 per plug? get me a box of 1,000 for that price.. i hope that was a typo...

 

At the most there like 3 or 4 bucks but I do remember finding a box of 4 for like 2.50

 

can anyone confirm that the Del Sol VTEC wires are the correct ones for 1st gen B16? Will wires from any DOHC VTEC motor work? For those who have NGK plugs for their B16a, what part number for the wires?

 

Yes they will work, but get the ones for the 99-00 si. They will work also and there a lot easier to get, because the computers at a lot of places only sell stuff for thr 1.6 sohc del sol.

 

i'm running d series wires on my b16.


i've gotten 4 spark plugs for 1.50 when the lady scanned the 4 pack as one.

You can use plug wires from 94-97 DOHC VTEC del sol, 99-00 Si, 92-93 GSR, 94+ GSR they are all the same shiet.

Don't bother with the N11 plugs, those are the platinum ($$$) models... just get BKR6E-11s. I've been using them for quite some time now!
