Default 5 lug conversion on EP3...

I'm doing the 5-lug conversion to my '02 Si soon from an RSX-S. I have the Tein Type SS coilovers on now and need to know if I can still keep them or will I have to change them to the RSX-S coilovers? Appreciate any help. Thanks

I'm sure the rears would be fine.

The fronts however might be a different story.

Not sure, but you should check out k-series.com and go into the technical section. They have a nice write up on the 5 lug conversion. You can try asking the guy that made that write up also.

5 lugs never made much sense to me, not like u need the 5th lug and they are damn expensive. Doesn't justify the cost in my opinion to be able to put type r wheels on your non type r car

Now you can do Type S wheels, too.

I thought the front axles had to be changed for the Type S to accomidate it's brakes. It's almost no different putting it on a coupe or sedan for the front (though they'd need EP3, DC5, or even DC2/DC4 fron axles regardless). The rear is still just as interchangable.

Good write up.

So it looks like I'll still be able to keep my Teins! Hopefully i'll be doing the conversion real soon and post pics when it's done.
