ITR shakes when A/C is on, whats the problem? please help!

 

maybe your car is at low rpm.. stock ecu doesn't always raise rpm when a/c is turned on..

 

mine makes some kind of noise that sounds like the clutch is chattering? when i press the clutch in it stops???

thats true...my idle rpm drops when i turn on the ac. you just gotta learn how to adjust aka give it just a little bit more gas. This only happens when you turn on the ac, after you run it a bit, the idle rpm goes back to normal.

does the idle rpm go up or down when the a/c is on?

 

I'm guessing it is robbing power from the engine... and with such a small engine, that causes a considerable loss. Happens in my car too.

 

A/C is like a kill switch for our little Honda/Acura's

 

Mine sounds like the engine has spun a bearing when I turn on the AC. I get a kind of knocking sound.
Anyone else hopefully

Yeah, also make sure you give it more gas when taking off so you don't stall. It happened to me 3-4 times when I first got the car. Man, that was EMBARASSING!

 

AC kills our little cars, that is why I dont have it

 

I agree!! After I turn on the AC, I can really feel the lose in power!!
