Default 3g teg seats in an ef

just in case anyone really wanted to know....

I'm swapping seats from a 3g teg into an ef, as stated... so far, for the back bench:
the bench itself will not fit. it is physically 2-3" shorter (eyeballed) than the ef bench, and the brackets that are used for mounting are well over 6" off for both of them. the backrests themselves are a PERFECT fit. I was thinking about taking the fabric off of the teg bench, cutting the ef bench, covering, and recovering the centre section with something else, maybe even making it a console of some sort....

I'll update on how much work the front seats are, unless someone else has done it (I haven't searched, we're just winging it as we go to figure it out ourselves)

i have a friend who did the same thing in his ef, somehow he got the bench back there. the front seats should be no problem, but there's gonna be an extra mounting hole in the seat's brackets, apparently. let me get the specifics, i'll try to get back to you on this.

are you talking about a HB or 4dr? are the integra seats from a 2dr or 4dr?

i have a friend named watty that dialed me in on this... each front seat needs 2 extra holes. I sold some EH2 fronts to a dude with an EF and he drilled 1 hole for each side. I put gsr's in my hatch, and they fit exact....., and the rear, gotta find lowers from a 4 door 3rd gen., and you'll only have about an inch gap between the ups and lower, but the sides will fit right.. there are L shaped brackets on the underside of the teg bench. heat em' up, bend them to fit those holes, you be good to roll.... fp fo' life, had to make sure you are still reaping HT benes watts.

hey i put gsr leather seats in my ef....

the FRONT u just drill holes and put a bolt and but under the car and that works perfect.

the BACK seat was not so easy. yea the back pieces all go in perfect. but the part your *** sits on doesnt at all. all i did was drill 2 holes for the folding brackets but watchout cuz the gas tank is right there and put a fat *** bolt though it. and did the same for the 10mm bolt in the back. there was about a 2 in gap on each side but it didnt look bad and after it was all done is looked to good. good luck and hope everything works out for u
