I could probably make this in metal shop. Looks like a bad welding job.

Anyway, yeah, that is something you don't see everyday. Not surprising that the motor actually fits in the engine bay. Just curious about how it functions, though.

if I was gonna waste money on any fwd motor for a crazy swap... it would definately be the 4.0 32v v8 out of olds aurora.

I would put it in an mid to late 90's z24.

The Honda accord is a great car. This swap really downgrades the car. If you were to do a swap do a h22. Why anyone would put a sub par motor in a world class car is beyond me. The gm motor is ancient technology, not nearly as fuel efficient, and much more prone to breaking. This guy must have lots of time and money to waste for something so stupid

i think it's gay cause it's a waste of money and time. sure it's fast, but a GM motor into an accord??? you'd be better off dropping an H22 and going turbo and make 300+whp. the weight of a 3.8V+ SC must really **** the with accords handling and suspensiontoo.

besides it's like dropping in a 5.0 V8 Ford motor into a Chevy.

I can appreciate the effort that went into this, but thats about it. I think its a pretty odd choice of motors to swap into a non-GM platform.
