Wiring a backup battery for the alarm?
I have a 7.2aH 12 volt battery I plan to run as backup.
How do you connect it to the alarm?
I have seen that one should put a diode from the main battery to the backup to prevent drainage. Is only one diode necessary?
Furthermore..will the charing of the backup battery drain the main battery?
