Default Start problem I think

I only drive my 98 ITR once or twice a week and recently on cold startups it seems to make funny noises and sometimes I hear the starter actually grind. Then after I drive or warm up the car it works perfectly fine. She only has 64,xxx miles and is starting to act up whenever my 94 LS has like 163,xxx miles and doesn't have this problem. If it is the starter going out, is there anything I can do to fix the problem without buying a new starter?

It seems like a stock flywheel to me.
