I think your right. If he is,well......thats dumb as **** whats so jdm about the window deflectors. We have them the same here as in japan.

well.. in a way i see his point, even though it is a pointless post.. i didnt see ANYONE except 30+ year old people using wind deflector things on their cars until this whole jspec stock parts thing got crazy..
i wonder if u approached a kid who has them on his car now, BACK THEN, before the pointless JDM stock parts craze happened and asked him "would you put these on your car?" if he would say "hell yeah man, those things look cool!"

I put them on my 89 Camry back in 1996, before I even knew what it meant to modify an import car or be a part of the "scene", or even that a "scene" existed. Why did I put them on? Because my dad got them for the Ranger pickup and I saw how well they worked and the benefits of them (ventilate car in summer w/o worrying about pop-up rain showers, etc.).
People who like them just because they think they're JDM
