Anybody know when the finals are going to be and how they will work?
Yeah, whee thanks!
I'm sitting here are work and it's like... well... 'Hey boss, you know that racing that I do and the schedule you have for the next couple months? (Peru Pro and Nationals) I need MORE time off.'
Well it's cool and all. But I know there are some good drivers out there that have won already. It's going to be a fun time, that's for sure.
I mean... Laguna Seca! Something I've only seen on the TV (Via ESPN or Playstation). Should be fun. Can't wait to find out what that weekends going to be like... according to the Laguna Seca web site, the dates are Aug 29th through 31st For only 20 drivers.
Anyone know what's happening for those three days?

Ignore the next line... it's a figment of your imagination.

My winning time was a 34.5, with the Pro Index at the time of 33.8... so I was only .7 off.
Yeah yeah... fine. Ya got me. I'm just 6 months off. (I was scheduling a project to be finished in Feb and for some reason it just got transferred here. That's my story and I'm sticking to it)

I felt good about my 36.5. It's been years since I've autocrossed. I was just happy to beat my friends by 2-3 seconds.
Apparently, there was some heavy competition there? A couple of national champions?

Congratulations! There are no words to describe my jealousy.
I'm not going, but Saturday was a hell of a fun day. It was really cool to flog the cars (especially since I don't have to fix them
). I learned quite a bit, I think. I turned in a decnet time for a novice, so what else could I want? (That was a rhetorical question).
At any rate, now I have to race more. I've signed up for COMSCC and hope to see some of ya at NHIS. Congratulations again, and good luck at Laguna!
