Default want to learn how to tune?

yes, for all of the california people who wanted the tuning seminar in their back yard, it is now here. Ben Strader will be teaching another tuning seminar in the bay area the weekend of August 23-24th.

You might have seen the older posts:
Art's Original Post
Earl's detailed post about what you will learn in the seminar

This is your chance to learn on how to tune a fuel injected car from the best in the racing industry

EFI tuning seminar by Ben Strader
August 22-24th @ Dyno Labs in San Ramon, CA

The shop is located in the east bay area. It is 40 minutes from the oakland airport and less than an hour from major citys in the bay area.

The basic things that will be covered in the seminar:
1)Basics of electronics
2)Tools and Equipment
3)EFI Overview
4)Base Tuning the EFI System/Calibrating the Base Fuel Map
5)Calibrating Maps on the Dyno
6)Understanding Injectors
7)Tips on making and installing your wire harness

Seminar package to include goodie bag, seminar work book and info pamphlet and some hands on dyno tuning on Sunday. We will provide lunch and refreshments on both days. The cost is a very low $300 dollars.

Info on Ben: "Ben is currently in the process of writing a how-to book called “How to build and Tune Custom EFI Systems” which will be published by Cartech S/A Design Publishing. The book will cover various topics on understanding and tuning fuel injection, along with an overview of nearly a dozen brands available on the market!”

I have a very nice hook-up on hotel packages for people who are interested in driving/flying out to the bay area to stay here for the weekend. Please email me for more info. I cant really help out on airline flights, best is to call the airline of choice directly. People can fly in to san jose, san francisco international, or oakland (prefered). They are all within an hour of the dyno.

For those not familar with the area, there are alot of nice resteraunts and bars in the local area. I am definetly expecting people to come out with us and have a good time friday and saturday night. There are a couple nice hotels within 5-15 minutes of where the tuning seminar is taking place.

turbo magazine will most likely be out there taking photos. As well as Tech tv getting some video coverage of the new tech powered movement of street and race cars relating to the computers that run our cars.
