Drivers side install

Well I've got the Phillips ballasts w/ integrated ignitor, so that right there makes my setup a bit cleaner than Catz. However mine has the OEM-style D2S connector coming off the ballast, which is too big to fit through the holes in the frame rails, and I can't extend the wires because the bulb has to be within a certain distance of the ignitor (which of course is inside the ballast).

Just remember, don't extend any of the wires between the ignitor and the bulb or you'll be asking for trouble. You can however mount the ballast and ignitor as far apart as you want to.

I think the way you have it looks good. Can you post an entire engine bay pic or resize those? (way too big!)

I still don't know how you Catz owners put up with all that wiring. Thank god for Trevor and his old Philips kits.

the main reason i want to mount under the bumper is because im affriad that water will hit the drivers side ballast.

For the left ballast I mounted it under the ABS bracketk, and the right ballast is wedged in the hole where the windshield reservoir is (but that requires power steering to be removed).

My ballasts also look smaller than yours.

Left one is drilled and right one is held by couple of cable ties under the cruise control. Does anyone else have cruise like mine?
