Default crx smoking

my crx has been smoking out of the exhaust(white smoke) and been burning oil for a while now.i have to put in about a quart a week or week and a half,so its really irritating.i have been told it could be my piston rings but i havnt lost any power at all,so i was thinkin it could be a valve stem or a valve seal?if any of u know a solution, let me know.

Do a leak down test, then you can track down to where its leaking.

might need head gasket and some other gaskets might be worn out.

White smoke? Are you sure it's not blue? My DX motor ate a quart of oil every 4-5 days, and it would plume blue smoke at high RPM's. On my car it was the rings

You will still have good compression, if it is just your oil rings, and not your compression rings. In fact you might have a higher compresion due to all the buildup in your combustion chamber. But by the way it sound, your oil rings are toast. As long as you put oil in that motor it should run, but I would replace it asap.
