Default Need help with EF coupe! How do I check codes?

I'm trying to trouble shoot my friends car, it's a EF(89') coupe auto LX.
I can't find the jumper to check the engine codes.
My main question is, where is the jumper or how do I check obd0 codes?

thanx to anyone who can help.

If your still reading this post and you are this bored here is the problem.

Car starts sometimes, sometimes it will not.
We are not getting any spark off of the plug wires. We have just changed the distributor with a brand new rOEM unit. We did however get spark off of the coil but we haven't checked to see if the new unit is sparking. We will be checking that after lunch. any help is appreciated.

The ECU has a little red LED that flashes in "code" to let you know what code it is throwing. It's located under the carped on the passenger footwell. When you turn the key to the ON position, the ECU will flash the code (s).
