Best bodyshop in NY/NJ area to get a JDM front end installed?
I am looking to do a JDM Type R front end installed in the future, and am curious as too what body shop is the best place in NY/NJ to get it done. I'm lookin for a place that has obviously done a few of them before. I don't wanna take my car to a body shop that never did it before and have something come out fucked up. So any members on here that have a JDM front end from NY/NJ can you hook me up with some info as to where you got yours done? And it would help alot if you can post some pictures, prices, and any other useful info. Thanks guys.

um well I aint expecting to pay anything cheap, but like Threatcon13 said I don't wanna pay an arm and a leg for something that I can get somewhere else for less. Can you tell me what you paid for your labor and tell me exactly what was done? Thanks

I think ultimate on route 1 in jersy, but it not the front end well sort of cause of the core support replacment. it's mostly the the paint job is wat matters. hell if you have a welder some tools and a frill you could replace the front end.

So you think it shouldn't cost more than $1600 for installation and paint to get the front end installed? Thats pretty good. But what if I also add this to the list, what you think is a good ball park figure?
Here's what I wanna do:
-I wanna get my front end installed.
-Have my side moldings shaved.
-Have my badges shaved.
-Have my trunk shaved to go wingless. (still haven't 100% decided on that yet tho.)
-paint match my oem sideskirts.
-Have my rear washer nozzle on top of the roof shaved.

around this area, if you want a half *** decent job, (paint match, tone, and texture, w/ a 3-4 stage paint) you should be looking at around 2000+ for a guy to install the front end.
off the books is another story.
I know a guy in brooklyn who could possibly do the front end for you. IM me.

look up classic automotive in highstown, nj. They've done the conversion, and they do top notch work there. You could also try Duie's in bordentown, nj. They did all the work on jeff taylor and samroo's drag cars. They would be "qualified" for the task, they may have even done a jdm front end as well.
taurus autobody in lodi, nj. big facility with a ton of dealer accounts.
they've done 2 itr front ends before. they've even used a g2 front radiator support for one of them. they do top notch work. i do rebuildables and these guys exclusively do all my cars.
my 2000GSR is there now. and they'll be handling my ITR that is coming in.
