Default I finally got all my parts, my Endyn head, and now time for assembly!

Well folks, I just got my head back from Larry @ Endyn. It looks BEAUTIFUL! Looks like very good head work. Larry communicated very well with updates on my head and with problems he had with parts that I sent him. Apparently the Used JUN Valve Springs I sent him only had 57psi of seat pressure. Thank god I got some brand new springs sitting at the shop. Much props goes out to Larry and the Endyn crew. Keep up the good work. Thanks Larry!

Now that I got the head, assembly on the rest of the motor will begin next week.
Here's what I got to go in my 98 ITR:

B18C5 w/ RS Machine Sleeves
84mm Endyn Rollerwave Pistons (12.5:1 CR)
Crower ECONO Rods
JDM ITR Crankshaft
B16B Head w/ Endyn Headwork
JUN Stage III Camshafts
JUN Dual Valve Springs
JUN Titanium Retainers
JUN Cam Gears
Spoon Sports Throttlebody
ITR Intake Manifold
Hondata Intake Manifold Gasket
JUN Header
JUN Flywheel
ITR Transmission w/ JDM 4.785 FD

For now, I am going to break it in using my JUN ECU and a A'PEXi V-AFC.
I am still trying to decide on what injectors to use when I get Hondata.
Any suggestions?

I haven't had my car for 10 months, so I can't wait till everything is together and running!

You'll find that the present intake manifold and header will be costing you as much as 30 hp, perhaps more. The power curve will begin nosing over relatively early as a result, but it should make some terrific mid-range......

The header I agree with, but will the ITR manifold really limit that set-up that much up top Larry?

I am planning on getting the Endyn CF Intake Manifold in the fall.

Does anyone have any realistic HP estimates for the build that is listed in the first post?

I am guessing from 205-218ishwhp on a dynojet

I know you are in a bind when it comes to tuning. but your vafc will hold u back a lil.

why not come down to the bay area and learn to tune? (see sig) then i can get u setup with a hondata system for your car.

Im just as curious as everyone else about the new cf intake manifold. Is larry talking about 30crank hp?

I would imagine with a throttle body that works correct with your motor and fully tuned, a good amount of hp can be achieved with an ideal intake manifold, but its hard to say that one intake manifold could work wonders on all setups. I wonder what motor package he optimezed the design around...

On a healthy 2-liter with the right header, our welded manifolds were 25-30 hp over stock, port-matched ITR manifolds. The CF manifolds should be worth another 5 or so from flow bench data. We've got a couple on NA cars right now and they're out-performing the TWM 50mm ITB's they replaced (with a single 64mm TB).
I'm "buying" one for my own ITR this week too.

I work at a shop in Utah and have 24/7 access to a Mustang AWD Dynomometer. Tuning should not be an issue when I get my Hondata. H-T User, uglyasscivic, tunes most of the fastest Honda's in Utah using Hondata. When I get mine, he will have his way with it.

I am hoping to get at least 215-225 on our Mustang Dyno with the JUN ECU, B&M FPR, and V-AFC, but I might be overshooting my hopes a little.

I think RC 310 injectors will be sufficient.
