HELP!!! How do I get the bitch pin back in?

I'm in the middle of my swap right now. I'm almost done and I CAN NOT get the bitch pin back in the shift linkage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

why don't you try to get a punch and a hammer and lightly tap it back in.

have you tried holding it together with vice grips and hitting it with a hammer?

hold it with a pair of pliers at first and hit it directly with a hammer just to get it started, then use whatever method you used to get it out(punch, exhaust bolt, etc)

try a pin slightly maller than the OEM one. slip it in, the slowl tap the oum one in, pushing out the skinny one.

this will hold the alignment right as you beat the rest of that bitch in.
