If I lower the 1997 Accord by 1.5" (max) would I be able to fit 225/50-16 wheels below her. I would olso like to know whether I would be able to fit a full DC header + exhaust system.

my car is dropped 2.75", i have a 2.5" down pipe off my 4-1 headers and into a full 2.5" exhaust and am running 205/50/16 225's would merit you to have some insane wheel width like 7.5" or 8" in order to stay within the same size circle...hope this helps, oh and if your are worried about scraping, well lets put it this way, if you dont care about what you are driving over, under and around then yest it will scrape, if you are then you should be able to spot problems before they happen

 

I also have 205/50-16's. The 225's are pretty big tires, I think the biggest you should go is 215/45-16 which doesn't have a large selection.

 

OK, the wheel widht becomes the problem, hence the 205s that you use. I don't wish to go less that a 50 series tire, not on our roads. Would consider a 205/55 before a 215/50 ??.

 

didn't notice you have a 97. the 96-97 accords have slightly taller tires than the 94-95 models.

205/55 or 215/50 would be correct. 215 is pretty limited in choice though.

 

Thanks guys, still a little worried about going with 45s. The tires are coming from TireTrack in Miami !. Ahwell I can always resell the 45s down here if need be.

Hey I gotta stupid question for you guys.. I just wanted to know which Accord model between 94-97 has rear lights that are NOT part of the trunk.
Like I've noticed that some of them HAVE rear lights that extend onto the trunk and some dont. My assumption is that the 96-97 are the ones without (cause I think they look better). I'm axe-ing cuase I wanted to get one.

only 94-95 s are true 5th gen accords no lights part of the trunk and no obd-II
