Good luck on the new setup.

yes i know, it just annoys me that people call the ITR motor a b18cr motor, it sounds stupid. a ITR motor is a b18c motor, no spec R not b18cr

im not saying you CANT call it that. Im just saying thats NOT what it is called. it is called a b18c NOT a b18cr. you can call it whatever you wish, you could call it a geo metro 3cyln motor for all i care.

OMG, aren`t there bigger problems in the world ?

Look:
If I tell someone I`m owning a B18C motor, I`ll always get the question: "Ah, a b18c, a c1 GSR or a c5 ITR or what ?" So I have to say..."No, it`s a JDM spec Type R"

But if I call it B18cR, people know what I mean... At least you knew. Is that okay for your peace of mind ?

So, you are the authoritiy on engine designation now??

Like Sven the German Ambassador just said, I'd ask what engine was being talked about.

B18C-R, who cares what it is really called.

What's a F22? Do you mean H22A? Kinda doesn't make sense in the R unless it's drag only and even then, why not just get an RS for that? The heavier engine will upset the balance of the car on the road...
