What year did the ITR First come out in?

What year did the ITR First come out in? I'm thinking about buying a itr as a daily driver...just for the heck of it.

According to the year breakdown in Japan, it was Dec. 1995 and considered a 1996 or course. This info comes straight from Cusco's catalog.

I moved to Japan in Sept 1995 and I saw one as early as October ...so it wasn't Dec. 1995 (in Japan) see my link in above post

Did the first JDM ITR's have a four lug bolt pattern? I saw an article in Sport Compact Car, that featured a 96 ITR with four lugs. I thought that all the ITR's had five lugs.

96 was 4-lug, 97+ was 5 lug.
