JDM front end.....

Hey guys, I am deciding on going to front end JDM conversion....
what parts will I need ? instead of buying a kit, I am thinking on buying a sheetmetal fender from Japan...
and then buy a C-west front bumper, grill and CF hood from here in the US..

Question I have is, how much does it cost to do the swap from a body shop ?

and also, for those who has done this, what parts are needed..

I red that I'll need,

1 pair of fender
1 pair of fender liner
1 front bumper and grill
1 hood
1 front end support ( same as radiator support, isn't it ?)
1 front lip
1 pair of headlamp

anything else I am missing ? I am more worried of the little parts here and there, that can only get in japan...

I have a friend who's going back to the JDM land, and I was thinking on having her buy the fender and ship it by boat from there...

The stock fender liners fit the JDM fenders. You wont need the grill if you get the Cwest kit because it won't fit. Whatever you do, do not buy a fiberglass JDM kit except for the Cwest parts. Youll need the front crossmember and the bumper support. Make sure you get the covers for the back of the lights. I got mine from A&J.

 

There are a shitload of little parts missing from your description. I think inclucing bulbs and counting all the little seperate parts, it comes to around 30 something pieces. And that is not including the hood latch cable, that you need.

 

Don't forget the front bumper reinforcement and you will need a different hood latch cable(I used one from an accord but I heard the earlier integra ones work-90-93). You will also need all the bulbs for the headlamps.

 

just buy the kit..jdmhondaparts.com has a buttload in stock..all brand new oem parts..pretty good pricing too
