crx steering problems

crx steering problems
my car's steering is real loose,i dont really know whats up with it,but when im haulin *** it tends to sway alot,or when i hit a little bump in the road it just sways back and forth.it didnt do this until like a week or two ago,and i didnt do anything to it before then to cause it to do so.any solutions u guys might have?

Seeing how it's an old car(91)most have boo-koo miles on them by now.There is something about to give out on your car.Take it to a reliable shop or dealer and let them see what they find is wrong.Of course it'll cost you some money,but if you know how to fix it yourself you will know what you have to replace then.

Sounds to me like the steering rack is done for.
Have it checked by an exprienced mechanic, first though.
If you replace it yourself, do a seach here first, it will help alot.
And enjoy, you are going to have so much "FUN" with it you don't even know. j/k
It's gonna be a biotch. took me and my friend like 5 hours
doing it in his backyard.

I replaced the steering rack last week. But i had the problem before i replaced the rack. All of my struts are fine. And the steering rack really wasn't that hard to install. (with 2 people it only took 2-3 hours.)

well i went to get alligned and the lady told me that she needed the specs for when i lowered it.and i didnt really understand what she was sayin,cuz they can check allignment right?well anyways,i dunno..the steering is really annoying when you are busting 100 on the interstate and ur swirvin like a 2 dollar *****.
