ok im the process of helping a friend do a swap its a 00' d16y8 engine into a 97' DX hatch.. we are using the stock 97 dx engine harness and have a 96 EX ecu.. he blew the DX motor and got the EX free so he could get a car agian..
little background.. we have already converted the 3 wire dx ivac to 2 wire but not sure if its done correctly.. anyone know?? we have extended the o2 sensor wires.. vtec wires have been ran but have not been put into plugs cause i can not for the life of me find an OBD2a ecu pinout diagram.. a friend was gonna check on the apexi.com website for the vafc installation. it should work.. next where does the knock sensor wire go? and why would the motor be running in limp mode (i guess thats what it is) rev it up and it just boggs down but once in a while it will go and rev up correctly and then it will start bogging agian..
