creaking noise coming from back hatchback

creaking noise coming from back hatchback

does anyone know how to get rid of the creaking noise from the hatchback area, it only does it at slow speeds, any suggestions will help

you could try putting shims between the two rubber halves of the trailing-arm bushings... that should stop the creaking noise

Electrical tape wrapped around the |_| the latch type thing will more than likely stop the noise.

Uh... thats retarded. The trailing arm bushins is not in two pieces (hence halves) and putting shims there wont fix any creaking.

There are two rubber plug looking thingys on either side of the hatch - try turning them (try both directions) to seat the hatch against the body better. Will take some trial and error.
