creaking noise coming from back hatchback

Uh... thats retarded. The trailing arm bushins is not in two pieces (hence halves) and putting shims there wont fix any creaking.
There are two rubber plug looking thingys on either side of the hatch - try turning them (try both directions) to seat the hatch against the body better. Will take some trial and error.
