I made some out of 8AWG gold ring connectors I got from an Audio Shop and some 8AWG monster cable I got from the same shop. Just crimp and solder the connectors onto a piece of wire you measured out.

Supposedly it gives you like 5hp, but I have yet to see anyone with actual results from a dyno. Not worth the time to me, but others swear by it, cheap mod.

Actually the main reason I did new grounds was because take a look at your stock grounds. 15 years later they are gross looking and all corroded with rusty bolts on them or what not. The new ones I made have been heatshrinked and everything and are water proof and will not get all gross. Plus they are thicker than stock. I did notice my headlights seemed brighter. Also seems to let the car start up quicker.

I did this too. not cause i was expecting to gain hp or anything, but i figured if the car actually had a decent ground, instead of that tiny little thing. it would probably help with the flow of electricity. I dont really know if it made much of a difference, i dont have before and after dyno's or anything. It does seem to start better, like fourthgenhatch said, although that could just be in my head.
heres a pic of mine on my all-mighty engine

Hey man, didnt even realize it was you, lol
theres a couple grounds actually. Theres one that goes from the valve cover to the chassis, from the battery to the chassis, and where the battery ground connects tot he chassis, it also goes and attaches onto the tranny. I replaced all of those grounds.

suprisingly enough, i look in the august import tuner mag and i see that upgrade and it gives it a significant hp/tq boost too. i couldn't believe it, they got dyno sheets and all, i would scan it and throw it on here, but i dunno how to post pics. (granted it is on a dsm, but grounds are grounds.)

usually to they pick a car where doing a mod would give much better numbers. that DSM's wires were probably so chewed up the engine wasnt getting much spark at all. when they replaced them it brought the engine back to stock and made it seem like they gained power. hey Hcivic88 is your transmission blue? nice touch.

lol, yup, its blue alright, haha
my block is blue too, its the only high temp engine paint i had. and my interior is blue, so i figured the color scheme of the car is white and blue, so why not make the engine blue too.
thats my explanation of it atleast, but it may just have been that i was too lazy to buy some black engine paint
