ok i know this sounds a bit weird but my girlfriend is abit obsessed with pink, and i was goin got paint her honda badges / accord badges pink.. well they have that glossly finish to it tomake it look "CHROME"... well heres the questions..

i sould obbiously sand it right?
and also a primer..
then what kind fo paint should i use...
do i need to clear coat?....

take them off, paint them, put them back on

no need for primer or clear coat

uh acutally if youdo that, its more likly to come off with a finger nail?.. thanks for the advice though?.. ehh..

 

u have to sand them the paint wont stick to that chrome finish..i just did mines recently..i sanded them just to dull the chrome finish...i bought a can of duplicolor black primer,can of black paint,and a can of clearcoat..i sprayed them with three coats of primer first...i then one coat of black..i didnt like how the black looked so i sprayed them again with the black primer,then a coat of clear..i didnt like the shine the clear coat gave it,so guess what..yup sprayed them again about 3 times with primer and left them like that...heres the end result..a flat black that looks gunmetal in the sunlight..

I saw a guy with JDM Prelude with black Honda Badge.. UGGHHH!!! It look awesome.. I like it alot and it match the color...

 

black chrome or painted black?

I was gonna get black chrome but I am sure it will be gone in no time



I painted mine, stripe the chrome finish first tho.
