Default weird sensors on LS motor swapping in DX Hatch..........?

Ok I'm doing a swap in a friend's car for him. He has a '90 TEG auto motor, it has a weird looking thing bolted to the intake manifold behind the dizzy, and another strange sensor by the coolant and oil pressure sensors on the back of the motor. I've done many ZC and B16 swaps and never encountered these sensors. I did a swap in this car previously with a ZC it is a DX BTW, it has a HASport Harness for a ZC and has no plugs for either of these sensors. Can I just delete the sensors? Are they for an auto tranny? Oh yeah we are using a 5speed tranny and ECU.

the one on the intake manifold is the egr valve, which is on automatics only. it can be removed cause you guys will be using a manual ecu. the other sensor i do not know without a picture. the only sensors that i know of on the back of a obd integ block is the thermoswitch and oil pressure sending unit.

It is a green plug on the back to the left of the other two sensors. It kinda reminds me of a knock sensor on a B16, the knock sensor I beleive was mounted closer to the cylinder head.

that's cool and all but what is it for, and do I need it when putting this motor in? thanks in advance. All DX's, Si's, ZC's, and B16A1's I've done have never had this mystery sensor. I'm baffled.

Is that the plug for the fans? I know that on older ls blocks the switch for the fans is on the back of the block. Newwer ls's have the fan switch/plug next to the thermostat.

Wait a minute I thought the knock sensor was a single wire when I did my b16? Are you positive it is a knock sensor?

I just got done swapping a B18A1 into two different cars and I saw that same plug....It has something to do with the oil, as I took it out and it ran into the oil passages. It has no ill effects if it's not plugged in. I think it might be for an oil temp sensor, but I'm not sure. Might be something to think of if you want to install an aftermarket oil temp or pressure gauge.
