autozone axles

Default autozone axles

I have a J1 cable trans. with place racing axles.. just bought a 90-93 passenger side axle because of damaged pr axle.. wondering what it takes for it to properly work.. if you have done this before let me know. asap.

Shouldn't it just bolt in? You'll have to remove the dust shields if you haven't already done so, and check for a ring on the new axle itself... that has to come off too.

yulp.. all 90-93 axles should slap right in.. if they're PR axles.. wont they warrenty them?

if they are not oem, you can spit them out with 8k rpm launches....

my funky napa axels ran 12.7, and a 8,500 RPM launch on boogies? didn't even bust a boot

negitive...

for 1... might be the same hub spindle count, but deff. not the same on the trany side... 2nd of all, axle length isn't the same from D series to B series.. the B sereis use a intermediate shaft.. and the 2 outer, are almost the same.. D series trannys use a longer driverside..

so no..

mybad..i didnt clear that up very well. my friend wants to know if D-series axles from a 96-00 Civic will fit into a 91 Civic Hatch with a D16A6 engine. i know this is more of a B16 topic but yea...does anyone know. need help!

OK UPDATE

I put that axle in and it worked great.. Just remove the dust shield on the axle and good to go. I even went out today and finally raced my friend to try it out.. Outcome.. me by a car and a half..
